Why Trust is Important

Trust is one of the most challenging to do and also one of the most important attributes of Christian walk. Trusting God and His process is key to our faith journey and yet for most of us are still living in fear or unsure of how to trust due to our past experiences.

So why trust is important?

1. It will deepen your relationship with God.
-you will learn to believe and have faith on what He can do.
2. It will lead you to become more dependable to Him
-you will learn to rely on Him and not on your own opinions.
3. It will lead you to God’s pleasing and perfect will.
-man’s heart is deceitful and constantly changing but as you continue to depend on Him, you will discover His plans for you.

To trust God is to acknowledge Him and His plans. When we start to embrace His process, we will realize that He’s making our path straight. However it can be hard to trust the invinsible and unforeseen but we must extend our trust to Him.

So even when you can’t see it for now, even you don’t know what will happen, even if you have to wait for a long time and even if it’s hard… TRUST THE PROCESS. He knows what He’s doing and He knows what is best for you. He has a plan and He is in control.

All I Desire

It’s been so long since I post on this site. But this time I want to share what is really my deepest desire.

The cry of my heart is to know Him more and more…

Yes, that’s it. It may sound as weird but day by day His love reminded me that I can’t truly live my life without Him being part of it.

I want to seek Him more, I want to know who He is in my life. To be dependent on Him. To be so much in love with Him.

Nothing can fill the emptiness in my heart except Him —my saviour, my friend, my Father, my strength, my God.

And there’s nothing I want more, than to be with Him all the days of my life.

So as long as I live, I will never stop pursuing Him. ❣️

Secure with the loving, caring Shepherd

The deepest needs of man today show in his insecurity, fear and loneliness. The reason man is always trying to earn more money, win more friends, etc. is because of these basic needs. We tend to forget that there is someone who truly cares for us. A good shepherd that gave His life for His sheep. A shepherd that truly knows us and familiar with all our ways.

If you feel unsecured about your future, love life, career, etc.. know that you have Jesus who truly loves you and cares for you just like the Shepherd who takes care of his sheep. He knows you inch by inch. He knows everything that you do and understand all your thoughts.

You don’t have to live in fear and worry. You have a God who is faithful. A God who never breaks His promises. A God who always make a way and a God who can do anything. For He says in His word, “I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.”

You have assurance and security that He will always be with you through ups and down. So say NO to fear, loneliness and worry and say YES to “secure with the loving and caring Shepherd.”

Let your life be full of peace, joy, love, security and assurance as you let Him take care of you. ❣️

Rest in His Presence

Psalm 62:5-6

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him. Truly He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken.

As I start this week away with my family and loved ones plus getting ready for the review for the upcoming board exam, I was totally overwhelmed. Having that restless feeling and wanted to take control the things on my own.

Doubts, fear, hopeless, exhausted, restless… These are the little things I felt during those moments. But God is really faithful, He lifted me up and reminded me who He really is in my life. He spoke to me through songs as I attended the Youth service in Victory U-Belt. The two songs are all about having faith and putting your trust in Him in the midst of feeling hopeless knowing that He will uphold us in the palm of His hands and will cover our weaknesses with His strength.

Indeed you can truly find rest if you let Him do His part for you. Now I can say that He is my shepherd. The one who takes control everything. I know I am not alone in this season. So whatever it takes, whatever it takes I will never stop trusting my God. Being hopeful and having confidence that I have a God who will never leave me nor forsake me. I can rest in His presence now.

If you feel unrest, tired of everything, want to give up and feeling hopeless.. Let me remind you that you can always find rest on the one who really loves you. You can rest in His presence knowing that true hope comes only from Him. He will always be your provider and your source of strength.

He wants to say this to you:

“My child, you don’t have to worry. I am the God who takes control over everything. I’ve always got you! You are not alone in this journey. Be still and know that I am your Father.”

So why worry with the big one if you have a BIG GOD in your life?

If you rest in God, goodness and mercy will follow you. ❣️

To be a Christ Follower

Jesus says “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.”(Luke 9:23-24)

A follower of Christ is not easy, and no one promised it would be. Jesus assures us that we will face difficulties in life. It takes courage and firm commitment towards Him. A follower is not all about enjoying to Christian songs, attending worship service every once a week or simply saying occassional prayer. IT’S MORE THAN THAT. A true follower of Christ is the one who really TAKE UP his/her CROSS AND FOLLOW Jesus WITH ALL his/her HEART, MIND, SOUL & STRENGTH. Giving everything “YOUR ALL” to Him. Having endurance and perseverance that no matter how difficult situations may be, he/she will never lose hope and continue living her life by faith for he/she knows in the end, everything will be worth it.

May you always abide yourself in Jesus daily. Walking by faith with obedience.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
(John 16:33)

Lastly, Live your life truly for Jesus while there’s still time. ❣️

So chin up, princess! You are the daughter of the King! A God’s princess that is wonderfully and fearfully made by Him. ❣️
Your true worth is found in Jesus. Remember that.
